Exchange Food and Drink Lounge Manchester

Happy new year guys!

Sorry for the lack of fashion blog posts, I have been so busy with work, uni, insta posts and Christmas! I will have to make it a resolution to post more fashion related ones but if you hadn't noticed by now I'm a major foodie and love trying new places.
Exchange Manchester invited me down to try out their new menu, it's located on 102 Portland Street, Manchester and is fairly new. With bespoke design and decor they have created a warm and relaxing environment to enjoy lunch, an evening meal or relaxing drink.
Their extensive drinks menu incorporates a wide range of classic and signature cocktails as well as their Gin Club which has a range of the best Gins sourced from different places in the UK. They also stock an array of locally brewed lagers, IPAs and stouts alongside spirits distilled in the vicinity in order to support the local community.

We dined on a Friday evening and opted for the baked mini camembert and hot sauce chicken wings to start. If you know me personally you will know I love cheese. I regularly have camembert and this one was the perfect sized portion for one and was lovely and creamy.

For mains we went for the sweet potato and spinach curry and the chicken Pieminister pie. One of my favourite foods is curry... I like just about every kind there is whether its Thai, Indian or Chinese as long as the curry is spicy! This one was perfectly spiced with a generously sized naan bread on the side. If you live in Manchester and haven't yet tried a Pieminister pie you need too! Over Christmas in Nastygal we ordered a team lunch in from them and they honestly are the best pies I have tasted. Exchange have a daily pie from there on the menu that you can try.

For desert we shared the chef's homemade chocolate brownie with chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, it was a generous portion so there was no way I could finish it on my own!

For my outfit I wore a white silky bodysuit from Lasula Boutique, leather shorts from Asos and black suede thigh high boots from Lasula also. Here are the links to the bodysuit and boots.

The winter menu is available now on their website and they do plenty of other food such as sandwiches, salads, pizza, burgers, steak and fish!
