The Bells Luxury Apartment stay in Leeds

The Bells 5 star luxury serviced apartments in Leeds is located right in the city centre, a few minutes away from the famous shopping centre Trinity Leeds.

The Bells was given the name in honour of the distinctive sounds of the Leeds Minster, which can be heard ringing across the city. The beautiful building had been left derelict for nearly 20 years until two years ago when it was transformed into The bells, creating an exclusive collection of seven individually designed apartments with the combined feeling of a luxury boutique hotel with every apartment is finished to the highest standard using the best fixtures and fittings.

To enter the building you are given a code which leads into the beautiful dark but rustic hallway which had the most amazing aroma of scented oils which invites you in and gives you the initial feel for what's to come from your stay. As you walk up the stairs you will notice the original stain glass windows and wrought iron gates strategically placed on the wall.

We stayed in the spacious luxury two bedroom penthouse apartment named 'Big Ben'. As you walk through the entrance door the first thing you see is the engineered smoked parquet flooring which leads into the kitchen to the left with a slate facia finish and polished concrete facade. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, a full range of herbal teas, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge full of bottled mineral water and mixers. The walls are furnished with exposed brick and iron steel girders. The living area is surrounded with panoramic views of Leeds and an un-missable balcony with the most beautiful view of the clock tower building.

A bottle of Prosecco on ice was left waiting for us along with the most amazing built in Sonos sound system which echoed through the whole lounge creating a great relaxing party atmosphere. There was even a discreet utility room located behind the kitchen along with two balconies.

The modern apartment has two super kingsize bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms and an additional guest bathroom. Nothing was left to chance with details whether it was the led lights in the bathroom accompanied by a rainfall shower. Molton Brown products or a stairway leading up to the telescope in the main bedroom if you wish to go stargazing.

In the living room and bedrooms there were a number of quirky pieces of artwork of the royal family past and present. It was the most enjoyable stay and everything we needed was just on our doorstep.
I can't wait to come back for a second time and try out one of the different apartments as I know a couple have hot tubs!
