48 hours in Paris

Where is the first place you head to when you have never been to Paris before? The Eiffel Tower of course! With it being my first time in Paris I really wanted to take full advantage and fit everything in, and that we did! Karla the founder of the online fashion brand The Fashion Dollz and now a good friend of mine invited me to go with her to the 'Who's Next Trade show' in search for new collections and the next big trend for SS18.

Lunch pit stop!

Standing next to the new fragrance Gabrielle Chanel... incase you wondered who I was named after?

Too excited to see what paris has to offer we didn't check in the hotel until later. From having fun posing in front of the Eiffel Tower (as you can see on my Instagram) to hours of sightseeing, there's no wonder they call it the city of Love. The architecture blew me away as did Avenue Montaigne where you are in designer heaven. Door to door you have YSL, Chanel , Gucci, Prada and more. Not only is the Fashion out of this world, the French are also known for their Rose. So we sat outside at L'Avenue, one of Paris's celebrity hang outs and enjoyed an extra special bottle of domain Ott, people watched and girly gossiped.

A place you must visit if ever in Paris - L'Avenue

Our hotel was situated in such a perfect location

Finally checking in to our hotel which I may add was amazing! Views of the Eiffel Tower - what more could you ask for! After a quick change we headed to Buddha bar and enjoyed cocktails and Sushi. What a fantastic restaurant with lounge like vibes, great music and yummy food. Enjoying ourselves too much we couldn't end the night there. So we went next door to The Hotel de Crillon which was one of the most stunning hotels I have ever seen. It was a suggestion from my parents as they had honeymooned there seventeen years ago!

Obviously we had more cocktails which were just amazing. Porn star martini for myself and a margarita for Karla. The bathroom freshen up was just dreamy, if you need bathroom goals take a look! Romantic marble and complementing mirrors.

Suiting the romantic feel I was dressed in a black silky bodysuit from Missguided Peace + Love collection which has a deep plunge and integrated shoulder pads. My sequin skirt was from All Saints and has quite a high thigh split. Karla's outfit was the Indie two piece from The Fashion Dollz.

I hope you have enjoyed this post and I would love to hear which amazing places any body has visited for any future trips to paris I may take! If you could leave a comment in the section under neath with any suggestions I would love to hear from you.

Gabrielle X
